Our price list accurately reflects the current cost of training at Brazos Helicopters.

 We use realistic numbers so that you can plan your financing needs.

This class introduces or re-introduces the Military Aviator to civilian commercial operations, including FAR Part 135.  This class will help in the interview process.

Pre-paid discount is available for "blocks" of flight time purchased in $5,000 increments or more.  UVSC students will pay total estimated flight time expenses per semester at the start of each semester to obtain Pre-paid discounts.

* This pricing is based on realities of obtaining the rating.  Some students may be able to finish with lesser dual hours.  Pricing based on "prepaid discounts".
** A total flight time of 150 hrs in powered aircraft is necessary to meet FAA requirements for the Commercial Helicopter Pilot Rating. Flight time in other types of aircraft may apply toward the FAA required total time.
*** Course material and books for the commercial courses are the same as used in the private pilot course.
**** All costs are based on concurrent training done for the Instrument, CFI, and CFII during Commercial training. The actual hours required depends on the student's abilities, training frequency, prior experience and motivation.  Pricing based on "prepaid discount pricing". No turbine time is figured into this program.
Prices do not reflect money or aircraft rental needed for any written or practical tests (check ride) or any examiners' fees, if applicable.
